Fred Gaysek is a Toronto-based author currently writing short stories under the working title L.A. Rain. For a good dose of poetry, visit: daybyday.ca

Julian Gobert is a filmmaker, composer and writer living in Toronto. His poetry has recently appeared or is forthcoming in CV2, dANDelion, Misunderstandings Magazine, The Nashwaak Review, Pilot Pocket Book, prairie fire and Prism International.

Jim Johnstone (b. 1978) holds an MSc in Reproductive Physiology from the University of Toronto. Liisa Ladouceur
is a real life goth girl. Naturally, this means she likes dead things, arcane words, still owns a hair crimper and writes poetry. She also works as a music reporter and her love for songs and songwriters bleeds into her poems a great deal — she is currently completing a manuscript of pop music glosas. Her first poetry collection, On Tenterhooks, was published by Burning Effigy Press in 2008.

gustave morin’s avant comix slowly ramp up towards future collection as The Candy Butcher; a page from this MS. was recently published in the ‘visual poetry’ issue of POETRY. Recent releases include Nein Typos, a suite of typewriter poems published by Tonerworks in Maine; and, Griddle Grin folio #1, a miscellany published in Ottawa. Meanwhile, Mr. Morin continues to dwell in the feral city of Windsor, Ontario where he is butcher, baker, candlestickmaker.

Sandy Pool is a writer and multi-disciplinary artist who lives in Toronto. Her work has appeared in The Antigonish Review, dANDelion, Qwerty, RAMPIKE and The Toronto Quarterly. Currently she is a professor at Humber College and is the Playwright-in-Residence at Tapestry New Opera Works.
